When a tree is removed, the stump and root ball often remain in the ground. At Colossal, we have specialised equipment designed to grind away the stump and break up the root ball, ensuring it won’t grow back. While stump grinding isn’t always necessary, it’s often done to meet the needs of various sectors. It can eliminate trip hazards in public spaces, allow for re-planting in the same spot, or simply give you a more usable space by fully removing the tree.
We’ve got a smaller machine for tackling those hard-to-reach stumps and a larger one for the big jobs. And if access is a challenge, we’re masters of thinking outside the box – we can even lift the grinder into place using our vehicle-mounted cranes!
